So my latest application (CompMark) has been on sale for quite a long time now, and it has been sold only a couple of times. Some of you may remember that I had a promotional week where it was free for a few weeks. During that period the app was downloaded many times. Because of that I decided that the CompMark app is now free for everyone from this day forward. I don't think that I will be updating it soon so that is one reason why I am doing this. Because I realy don't want to sell and spend time working on an app that has no future.
Still hereAlmost a week ago I came back from my summer vacation and started the work on my little (not realy) game for iPhone. The whole thing is going faster than expeted which is great for me and for you. I finsihed implementing the control system so now you can shoot enemies, I also added the enemies (so you can shoot something) which actualy move (HA-HA-HA) and dissapear when you shoot them. I still have to work a little on them appering on the screen. After I do that I will be almost finished with first part of the game and will start to work on the second part (the game is made of three parts). More in the comming weeks.
You probably remember that I started programming for Android too. That is going well and I will probably start porting one of my iphone applications when I finish this game - which I hope will be a success. BombTap is still selling which is good but I have a feeling that not that many people like simple games like that. Android is hereI finallly got my first Android device (Motorola Milestone) and I am quite happy with it. So I think that I will start making a few apps for it soon. Maybe porting some of my apps or just making a new app.
But tha is not all. I got an idea for my new iPhone game. And I think that it is one of my better ideas - if I can actualy make it work. So I implemented the basic control system already so now it's time for the game logic (which could be a problem).
Also for the duration of this week my newest app (CompMark) is free to download from the app store. Mainly because of its realy bad sales. iOS 4 supportiOS 4 is finaly here for everyone and since it is slowly gaining market share it is time to start making apps for it. But before I do that I need to make sure that all apps are iOS 4 compatibile. I have done some testing and it appears that all applications work with iOS 4 without any problems. The only application that has a small problem with it is CompMark but even this is something that most users won't even notice. So this will be fixed with the new update that is (I hope) coming soon.
If anyone has any problems with my app on iOS 4 - please let me know as soon as possible so I can fix the problem. CompMark is hereIt has been a few days since my last post here. I am happy to say that my new app has finaly been approved by Apple and is already available to download on the App store. You can get to the app store here.
Also almost a year has passed since my first Application on the app store. It has been a good year, I learned some valuable things during this period and I am hoping that the next year will be even better. I realy need to make an application that will be useful for general public. I am also thinking about making some games - for Windows and iPhone and I am also thinking about porting some of my applications to Android platform. |
